That is not a tagline. Bryan Fredrickson is an active firefighter who has responded to chimney fires and seen what they do to homes and families. In 2010 he started AFCS because he knew those fires were preventable.
Our story
Started by a
firefighter.
Staffed the same way.
In 2010, Bryan recognized a gap in his community. As an active firefighter in the Treasure Valley, he responded to house fires that started in chimneys and dryer vents. Most of them were preventable with a single annual inspection. He founded A Fireman's Chimney Sweep to close that gap.
Every technician at AFCS is an active or retired firefighter. That is not a marketing decision. It means every person we send to your home has real training in fire behavior, hazard recognition, and the specific ways chimneys fail. They know what they are looking for because they have seen what happens when it goes undetected.
We use the latest technology and keep our certifications current through NFI training programs. Our repair division can diagnose and provide a written quote for any repair within 24 hours of your inspection. No waiting around for estimates.
